Our Mission:

Safe Today Initiative Norge, is a non-governmental organization devoted to environmental and sustainable development issues in developing nations. The organisation is dedicated to environmental\Nature protection, ethical practice, and empowerment of settlers in rural communities affected by environmental pollution. As part of our mission, SAFE-TI will take steps to plan and implement community-based activities focused on rural development and poverty reduction in the Africa region.

Further, SAFE-TI will also focus on environmental protection, pollution, waste management, and the impact of climate change on the ecosystems through presentations, education, and the adoption of non-violent approach in raising awareness to the plight of these communities as well as foster better understanding between all stakeholders involved in the region.

Resources

Safe Today Initiative will use its resources to address the following issues;

•Improvement of sustainable development and environmental policy in developing countries, focused on the Africa region affected by significant contamination risk to human health and pollution of the environment in which they live, learn and work.

•To create awareness of climate change, environmental protection, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and empowerment of the less privileged in polluted societies.

•SAFE- TI will be involved in the implementation of (REDD) projects, such as alternative ways to improve reforestation. This choice is informed by the growing need for new ways to mitigate the effects of greenhouse gas emissions and Carbon components.

•Safe-TI will contribute to national measures to reduce environmental risk, based on the best available scientific information to be presented to all stakeholders.

•Safe-TI will also ensure that the federal laws that protect Natural resources management, health and the environment are improved properly and effectively to all citizens.

•Safe-TI will ensure that environmental protection is an integral consideration in African policies on natural resources, health, economic growth, energy, transport, agriculture, industry and international trade, and more importantly these factors are also equitably highlighted to establish environmental policies.

•Further, SAFE –TI  will ensure all stakeholders, such as societies, communities, individuals, businesses, and state, local, and tribal authorities have access to accurate information sufficient to effectively participate in managing health and environmental risks. Environmental protection contributes to making our communities and ecosystems diverse, sustainable, and economically productive, and Norway is playing a leading role in working with other nations to protect the global environment.

Safe-TI stands its mission objectives on these pillars of green movement: Environmental pollution/degradation and sustainability; climate change/greenhouse gases; forest and biodiversity conservation.
